How utility record information requests work
Upon receipt of your order, the Subscan team identifies local utility providers (including those with historic operations in the area) and requests drawings from each of the providers who may have laid services across the site.
The utility providers are obliged by statute to keep records of their network.
Subscan collates the drawings into a pack of information, which it supplies in hard copy format to the customer in a single binder on receipt of all the information. The team also uploads drawings as they are received onto the client portal of this website, so the client can download individual maps at any time.
If required, for an additional fee, Subscan will translate the information provided by each utility onto a single CAD drawing. It supplies this map to the client along with all the individual utility files.
