Subscan wins contract for anti-terrorism utility mapping
07 December 2011

Subscan Technology has won a large contract to undertake utility mapping surveys at six UK sites that have been identified as potential targets in connection with the 2012 Olympics and as security threats in general. Each site will take several night shifts each to survey. Subscan’s survey data will be used to construct various measures to make sure that these facilities are able to withstand any potential attack.
Subscan has been chosen to undertake these surveys because of:-
• Its quality and reputation on previous contracts
• The presentation of our services at client meetings.
• Its ability to mobilise multiple teams to site within a short period.
• Its robust procedures for handling confidential information.
Surveyors are due to start work imminently as survey data is needed urgently to allow for design and build to be complete before the summer of 2012.
